BDS resources are limited to the digital prescription and IOS submission details used by partner practices. BDS accepts digital submissions only.
Prescription forms
Current forms live in the lab portal.
Use the removable or fixed digital prescription form that matches the case. Submit the completed form with the case files.

Send a complete digital record.
Export the IOS in STL or OBJ format. Upload the scan with the digital prescription; fixed cases also need the opposing arch and bite scan.
iTero connection
Connect directly to BDS.
Call iTero support at (800) 577-8767 and request to add Bermuda Dental Studio.

Scan quality requirements
Check before sending.
Before submitting, verify the scan is free of:
- Missing anatomical areas
- Blurred, distorted, or incomplete surfaces
- Artifacts from patient movement
- Distortion caused by saliva pooling
Digital shade selection
Record shade in the digital prescription.
Use the Vita Classic shade reference when completing the digital prescription, and include the selected shade with the uploaded case record. If the shade is missing, BDS will contact the practice before production.
