The digital
workflow.
BDS is digital-only for all case types. No physical or analog impressions are accepted. Submit an IOS scan or digital prescription through the lab portal and receive delivery directly to your practice.

Step by step.
Prepare your digital prescription
Complete the BDS prescription form in the lab portal. Include patient ID, tooth numbers, material, shade, occlusal scheme, and special notes.
Export and upload your IOS
Export your intra-oral scan from your scanner software, then attach the scan and prescription to a new portal case. For fixed cases, include the opposing arch and bite scan.
BDS reviews and confirms
We review the prescription and scan quality before production. If anything needs clarification, we contact you before proceeding.
Digital production
Removable cases are milled or 3D printed in-house. Fixed cases are produced in-house when capacity allows or through the Epic Dental partnership.
On-island delivery
Fixed cases are inspected when they arrive in Bermuda. Contact adjustments and shade verification are handled locally when needed.
