What to expect.
Do you accept physical impressions?
No. BDS is digital-only for all case types. We do not accept physical or analog impressions, with no exceptions. Submit an IOS scan or digital prescription file through the lab portal.
How do I start?
Contact BDS with your practice details and scanner type. We will explain the digital submission path and help you access the separate lab portal.
What should I send first?
Start with a digital prescription and the relevant IOS scan files. The Resources page lists the current digital submission requirements.
Where do I submit cases?
Existing practices submit through the BDS lab portal, which is a separate third-party service.
